Our guest speaker on the subtheme “Sustainable development” at AfPS2018 is the young, passionate and career driven Pharm. Ekomobong Hanson.
Mr Hanson who is the National Chairman of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria – Young Pharmacists Group (PSN-YPG) is passionate about delivering quality healthcare to Women and Children in hard to reach communities with over Four Years’ Experience in Community Health programming, HIV/AIDs, Health Systems Strengthening, project management and Supply Chain Management.
He is the Executive Director, Safe Mother Safe Child Healthcare Africa Foundation, the Program Director for NAFDAC – Youth Against Drug Abuse Project (NAFDAC_YADA), a National Program to the growing menace of Drug Abuse in Young People funded by NAFDAC and a Member of the Codeine Control Working Group (CCRWG) of the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH).
In 2016, He worked with Family Health International (FHI360) on the Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDs Services (SIDHAS) Project in Akwa Ibom State as Community Pharmacists providing Pharmaceutical Care and HIV Testing Services to about 18,000 persons.
He has Worked with Niger State Agency for the Control of AIDS (NGSACA) and General Hospital, Minna in Partnership with Management Sciences for Health (MSH) as Facility Pharmacist on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) in 2016.
Hanson holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree, a Fellow of President Obama’s Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI). Hanson also holds certifications in Global Health Pharmacy and Project Management… Brilliant, right?
Our young panelist is a Four Time Recipient of Agbami Medical Awards, a Two Time Recipient of Lily Pharmacy awards and also a Recipient of Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS) awards both at National level and the local chapter.
He is an ardent believer in Teamwork, Innovation, Strategic Planning and Result driven Programming and he will be attending AfPS2018 as a panelist where he will be delivering content and taking questions on Sustainable development as related to the theme of the event.
